Title: how to employ him?

I would need to employ a guy for 2 or 3 days a month to start with,if he is self employed, is it the best solution?

Don't think you can employ someone on a self employed basis.
A part time or zero hour contract would be the best way to do it legally.

I think it's a language thing.
Self employed subby is the best way to do it...
