Cleaning a granite patio today, the customer wants a sealer applying afterwards
I've not much experiance of sealers so said I could'nt do it but he insists if I don't do it he will do it himself and he believes of the 2 of us I will do the better job.
He is getting the sealant and is of the opinion that the more expensive it is the better (I will take photos of the job today but it's a multimillion pound house)
A couple of questions....
How sunlight stable is sealer on a exposed open area? What lifetime can he expect?
Which is the best 'money no object' sealer?
-
What is the customer trying to achieve in sealing the Granite ? Is he after a "look" ie wet or is he sealing for protection?
-
I would use Aquamix Enrich and Seal on that.
-
Pure protection , he does not want the appearance to change

Just go for a good penetrating sealer then Mike, Aquamix are good and won't change the appearance.
