Heh, M-Power is a carpet cleaning chem from Solution Cornwall. (world of clean).
It's a colloidal cleaning solution (active colloid).
I've been using it for years. Great for carpet cleaning.
It does leave spots when it dries on glass though, even at 100:1 in pure water.
Haven't tried it with squeegee of MF cloths though.

Fancy name for washing up liquid. ::)roll

Yes it is made by the same company in Cornwall,......
but the carpet cleaning version is different to the window cleaning version, which has only been on sale for the past month or two.

i have ordered but not received the goods

for me you cant beat gg3 with a bit of squeegee off or the b and q detergent in my bucket.the gg3 leaves a fantastic shine and the squeegee off or b and q stuff adds a few suds and slip.

I've ordered a 1L myself, still waiting. I'd say he's pretty busy with orders since his article in WCM, hopefully it'll arrive before the weekend.

I started using this product recently on both outside and inside windows, here's my review:
INSIDES I add 1 capful to 500ml bottle of pure water, prob a bit too much but what the heck. Solution goes on the glass with applicator as normal. Seems to do a good job of cutting through the dirt, but no better than other cleaners like Squeegee Off etc. Very little suds, which is a plus in my book. Very slippery on glass, very little pressure on squeegee required, which is great. Also stays wet for quite a while longer in direct sunlight. Leaves glass sparkling, prob more so than Squeegee Off. I think I read somewhere that this stuff eliminates the need to detail, but that wasn't my experience, however I don't dog-ear my channels so maybe it is possible.
OUTSIDES For the outsides, I add 3 capfuls to 5L of pure in my modified 5L sprayer. I then wfp this to all the glass and frames of each window of the house. I then wash all windows with just pure as normal. This obviously increases the time it takes to complete each house, but apparantly the solution contains microscopic cleaning molecules that adhere to the pores of the glass. These molecules become active each time the glass is wet, similar to self-cleaning glass, and so in theory the next time i go to clean these windows it should be much easier and quicker than normal. I've treated about 20 houses now, so i'll have to wait till they are done next time to see if it has made any difference. I will say that after treating the glass and then cleaning with pure, it was much easier and quicker, but that's prob just because glass had been pre-soaked, prob be the same if I had pre-soaked with water only.
In conclusion, I'm very happy with the results for inside cleans, and would definitely buy it on an on-going basis for insides alone. I'll have to wait and see how effective it is for the outsides, but I'm hopeful it will do as it claims. I couldn't find any informatiion on how often it has to be re-applied to outsides, i reckon it would need to last for around 10 to 15 washes to be worthwhile.

Hhmmmm,
Not often you're wrong Bobplum, but on this occasion you're 50/50 :o ......
Jim is from Scotland.....but the company who makes the solution for him is from Cornwall.

Barry those mixes are way to strong.
I use a 2 cap fulls to 5 L for internal and external and its just about right.
If the water looks gloppy then its too strong.

Yeah, maybe I'll cut the ratio back a bit. How long have you been using it and whats your opinion of it?

I often try new products, occasionally something turns up that works very well and perhaps improves the finish for the customer also. If we just stuck to the same way of doing things, we'd still be using leathers and a bucket of water. You should try experimenting Stephen, you might be pleasantly surprised! Cheers for the feedback tho.

Some time now. I think it's amazing!

Do you add it to your pure water in your van or just apply it seperately?
-
I'm not so sure about using things like this for squeegee work. No suds is all very well. I have not tried this product but have used other "no suds" products. I prefer to be able to see clearly if I've made an error on the glass. I eventually reverted to a weak mix of fairy. As for the outsides, I prefer to keep with purified water. I have tried a couple of other things but have experienced spotting. This is not a judgment on this product but whenever I've tried something new, I have always ended up with fairy again.

Hi Jonny, I apply it seperately then wash windows normally with WFP and pure. I think you can add it to your tank of pure at a ratio of 1:1000, but I haven't tried that yet, might give it a go tho.

I dont add it to pure.
I do some car showrooms and they are pain (letting cars tick over before opening showroom)
I am useless with trad and pole, but this stuff makes me look like a pro. No complaints, no lines and no smears.
I have applied it today to some "solar glass" it always streaks, so in 5 weeks time i will have a look.
The car showroom is also due soon and cant wait to see how dirty they are! or clean!

Or...
Fill a backpack with solution and apply to window, then use pure water from van-tank as normal.
