Title: Registering a ltd name but keeping it dormant for a year

Is it hard to register a ltd name with companies house but keeping it dormant for a year.

Plus is doing the paper work for a dormain company hard & time consuming  ???

Hi Paul

Paperwork is dead easy, two minutes literally. You can keep it dormant for 20 years if you wished.

Each year you have to inform HMRC that the t/o and profit is zero, simples.
