I sont personally ratebthe ot8
Used it as a re branded SmartSeal deal and I could barely ever get a stain out with it
Even tried leaving it for a week covered in a tarp.
-
Jet how did you use it?
My first use was for a single block where my van had dripped on a customers drive
I applied it, scrubbed it, rinsed it and the stain was still there. Took 3 attempts.
But apply and scrub before PW ing the area and it comes out completely every time

Pre wet. Apply, leave 20 minutes, rinse off. Apply, cover in tarp, leave a week . pressure wash. Still there.
I am right in assuming SmartSeal oil remover is ot8.

Don't think so this is what I use

By the way I don't pre wet area

Smartseal sounds similar stuff @ 1/2 the price :-\
Either a copy or it's watered down ot8 or oil technics just charge double.... ???

How much do you pay for ot8. Might try some genuine stuff. Ive used ot tarmac stuff, got the oil out but only left the etching.

£35 for 5 ltrs
Still got half left done approx 7 jobs with it

smartseal just buys ot8 and puts it in their own canister and their label, like all other their products
i bought 5L can from them years ago it was only called oil remover on their website and label on canister.
i removed their label and below that was ot8 original label
that time it work well for me, oil splattered all over driveway, i wet driveway applied ot8 and 30min later pressure washed it. every single drop of oil removed

I have used OT8 on a few jobs, and it has worked well, I usually soak the surface with the stuff, and scrub with a stiff nylon brush, and repeat a few times, then pressure wash.

OT8 works fine on BP.
Obviously, the newer the stain, the more chance of success.
