Title: Angle grinder
Post by: Fin Clearview on July 11, 2014, 07:29:16 am
Has anyone on here seen windows that have been damaged due to an idiot working with an angle grinder too close to windows, where the sparks have embedded into the glass?

I've seen it before but yesterday we have a top client who has this. I think the only answer is to replace the glass.

I've seen this too on several occasions, you cant do anything with it.

As above. ^^^^

The glass has melted, to polish them out you would need to take off too much of the glass and it would crack.

Oy thing is replacement unfortunately.

Yup, plenty of these on my run. Can't do anything about it, and I don't worry about it. My job is to remove dirt from glass, not damage.
