Hi guys,
I've been on a quest in recent months to find an alternative to Virosol/Ubik etc that is pH neutral (not alkali or acid). I've finally found what seems to be the perfect product.
My problem with Viorsol etc was that when cleaning fascias/gutters etc, I had to ensure any overspray onto glass was rinsed off immediately or else the product would stain the glass and make it very difficult to remove. This is a major downside of alkali-based cleaners. I've now found a product that is pH neutral. As a test, I sprayed some of this undiluted onto one of my own windows, left it for 4 days, and cleaned it off with my WFP. It washed off easily, no staining. I've tried it out on the fascia/gutters of one of my custies, and it did as good a job as Virosol etc, if not better.
This is the product I'm talking about: http://mistralie.co.uk/products/merlin-multi-purpose-cleaner-concentrate It cost me £37.99 for a box of 4x5L, with free shipping to Rep of Ireland, great value.
If anyone has used this, what is your experience with it?
Cheers.

Ive been using virosol for 2 years, before that Ubik. I love virosol because it doesn't matter if it drys on windows/fascias/whatever. Ubik it was a problem, not virosol though.
Surprised you found it a problem tbh.

could be dilute ratio, that's alters. I dilute a tad less that 50%. No problems
