Afternoon. Is this standard practise? If so, could someone guide me on what to do between my controller and 110 amp leisure battery?

on the wire that goes from the positive terminal of the battery to the controller put one of these.

you should use a low amp fuse the one on mine is 7.5 amp

Fitting the correctly rated fuse is important, As Rich,s post fuse sits on the red (positive) cable between the battery and controller. fit a 7.5 amp fuse. Fitting to high a rated fuse can damage the control and cables.

Thanks very much. My final problem I'm having now is connecting the 18 awg controller wires to my 110ah big leisure battery. I've tried eye holes but if they're big enough to fit on the battery then they're too big for the wires and vice versa.
Are crocodile clips too risky?
Any suggestions are massively welcome
