Title: 6mm brass bard hose tail desperately needed warrington area

as above need one by the end of today, changed hose from 8mm to 6mm made a mistake and only ordered 1 when I needed 2 anyone in warrington have one?. 07863358740 mike

I've used a caravan accessory shop before to get barbed hose reducers etc before if that's any help.

B and Q is worth a try,or if you got the 8mm put hose in boiling water and it will fit on.

Garden centres sometimes have them so does the village hardware store
Failing that half ores have plastic ones

just use the 8mm hose barb, dip the end of the hose in boiling water then it will go straight on

PHEW.. that worked I was able to get the 8mm barb onto the 6mm hose by putting into boiling water, I had tried b&q toolstation and screw fix today for them but no luck anywhere it was looking like a trip to manflex in warrington Monday morning but great thanks for your replies.

Fitting 6mm hose onto an 8mm hose is an old trick for WFP.

Provides a better seal and less chance of leaks.

i found 6mm barbs leaked when using hot water, with 8mm they were fine
