for the third time in 9 months my van was hit by a women driver on all 3 occasions I wasn't in the van when hit, she was trying to reverse out of her drive passed a truck and then hit me, then tried to reverse into a neighbours drive, missed that and went on the grass.
what do I need to keep my van safe, maybe a safety barrier all round it, whilst parked?

They say these things happen in threes, so touch wood (rubbing my head) you've
had your run of bad luck.
-
you just need to stop being a jinx!

what I need to do is make sure I park that is no where a woman is parked.
twice I have been hit by women reversing and once when she took my wing mirror off , the only winner is my mate who does the repairs.

I got hit by a guy reversing out from his drive, a blind man wouldn't
have done it.
The worry is that this guy is a HGV lorry driver.

Sorry , I know it's not funny, but this reminds me of the TV series 'Britain's Worst Driver', which featured a truly appalling driver who crashed into anything that was in his way. He was a retired helicopter pilot!

Not joking Johnny I have never witnessed such bad driving and there was another car
sitting in his drive which had also been bashed a few times.
I actually stopped cleaning the property because I feared he would do the same again.
The thought of this guy in a HGV lorry sends shivers down my spine.

Sorry Sean, I was not trying to minimise the incident. I fully empathise with your situation, and agree that it is frightening that you are sharing the road with a man who makes his living driving an HGV but who can't cope with such a basic manoevre in a car.
