What do I need to set a rope system for use on roofs?
Have you gone on any courses to help?

Cheers.
I wasn't sure about being secured to the roof ladder. I thought the ropes may have to go over the roof to something on the floor the other side.

We use two "builders bags" inside each other. 25 litre drums are then placed inside and filled with water to form a ground anchor.  Easy to set up and light enough to store /move around empty.
