Just tell them you only work for £45 an hour. Should get the job easy I would have thought.
-
you could also tell them that you have a different pole for each apartment, and therefore there would be no cross contamination... ;D

I do a lot of work for managment companies and it is some,if not my best work.
One company I work for required no paper work just proof of insurance, another required loads.
Don't be fooled in thinking these sort of jobs are awarded purely on price my largest contract I quoted for and got was higher than the previous cleaner.
Some companies pay very well to keep them looking good and their residents happy.
This work can also be done any weather 12months of the year.
-
Do them once and then dump all 50 and then replace with twice as many.

Soon as anyone says 'it's all about price' I'm out.
He is gonna get 3 quotes, take them back to the existing cleaner and say 'beat that & you can keep the job'
I've wasted time on these crappy jobs before.
Even chased one near me for a bit.
Walk away bud-you won't get it at what you would be happy working for.
-
my thoughts exactly darren!! :)

so your going to throw work away without knowing what its about ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll
yes it may be about price, but what if you are still happy with the work and its in your price range p/h whats the problem
it could have been well over priced and they may feel they are getting ripped off ;) ;) ;)
some of you are so shorted sighted :o :o :o :o

Had one of those a few weeks back. Old peoples refuge, was being done by ladders at £70, I took it on at £30 every 6 weeks, it takes 35 minutes with wfp & it's right next to some current work!! ;)

im not throwing any work away mate.we ll see when i get the call.im getting to the point where im not bothered about getting anymore work esp contract work if it means loads of paperwork etc.also how long do they take to pay?3 months?
if its straightforward and they pay up in a reasonable amount of time then i might go for it.other than that im really not bothered!! :)

Daz normally takes around 30 to 60 days to pay sometimes longer. We do a fair bit for management company's some require purchase order numbers which are a pain, but go for it m8 could get more off them. As for paper work it would only be for invoicing for what you've done no biggy. A purchase order is a number they give you which you put in your invoice but sometimes they take abit of time for them to raise one, hopefully they don't use erm
Good luck with it m8 go for it. 👍👍👍
-
cheers danny.ive got a fair few commercial jobs all pay online/cheque/cash and invoiced.its the risk assessment and method statements i cant be bothered with to be honest if required.
-
I've never had to supply that but there easy to do, just put on a4 the risks ie watch out for over head cables, manhole covers ect as for method statement just say about checking weather before you start, put warning signs out do them under bullet points. Once you've done them in your company headed paper just print off a few m8 for future reference. Bit of a pain at first but once you got that's it. Most management will
Only want liability and some may ask for H$S cert and some may not bother m8.
Cos be the start of good things if its a big management Co they can pass you to another member that look after schemes in another area 👍
