...you get more cancellations than normal?
Is it the Christmas debt kicking in?
I've just had my third cancellation in the space of a week and the excuse was that he'd just lost his job (it could be true) and that they were cutting back on household expenditure.
Oh, by the way, I'm not worried about cancellations; I've had to miss some large chunks of work out this month because I couldn't fit it in.
It's just an observation.

Funny enough I had a similar prob this time last year.

Ello Tosh. I normally find this time of year, alot of people start putting their properties on the market. That happens to me every year. It's a Spring Thing. I just hope that they put in on for too much money and no-one buys it ;)

Hi Malc , 4 to 1 say otherwise ! ;D

I noticed you said 'he'. Nearly every troublesome domestic job I've got, the bloke is in charge ??? I dumped 4 of them last week for messing me about >:( On the other hand, I picked up 2 cracking commercials on Wednesday, £75 and £85 for 2 hours work the pair :)
I don't think there's any yearly pattern, stuff just happens :-\

Even better I'm not losing any - I've even cancelled two out-of-the way customers myself!

Fair point though. Had the Gas and Leccy on the same morning. One week later and the water bill comes in(Don't get me started on that one) >:( Oh the Inland decided they wanted "another" 250 off of me on top of the whack i'd just given them end of Jan.
Oh yeh, then the MOT last week and then......ok, i'll shurrup. We're all in the same boat, i know.

Talking for hours, having the same conversation over and over and over and er over again, but trying to act like it's the first time i've filled them in with the woes of life, when it is in fact probably the 20th time in 90 minutes
No......... Wash and Go is definately the way to go ;)
