Title: How long to keep water

How long is it safe to keep water for wfp without risking things like legionaires etc. I don't use that much water but don't wont to filter every day.

well ive had stuff stored in barrels before for 6 months plus and been fine, as long as where your storing it is not in the sunlight it will be fine.

Thanks was thinking of weekly basis max of 2 weeks at a time will be in dark shed

if the water is below 20c it wont thrive, so basically keep it in a dark cool room!!
If the water is flowing ie your taking some water out each day say thru a pump this will stop it thriving as well.
Thats why its never a good idea to have a "dead leg" of piping in your water system as the stagnant water becomes a breeding ground
