Ubik by a mile. We use both; the Ubik goes in to our window cleaning bucket and is brilliant in places like cafes, inside peoples homes when they smoke, etc. We use it on the floors of night clubs and it eats the dirt from manky students.

Virosol is good, and smells a lot nicer, but in my opinion, when the going gets tough Ubik is the best option.

Ubik contains solvents, virosol doesnt.

UBIK everytime.

However i am working on my own mix, but its tooooo strong!!! Local company near me does chemicals for a living.

Told them all the things i wanted to clean, then they made me a mix. I spilt this before a conny roof clean lol. I diluted massively and it looks to be golden now ISH lol

One is acidic the other alkaline. They have different uses so not worth comparing. Use both for different applications. Each has its benefits.

Self cleaning glass gets ruined by ubik 2000 and so do aluminium coated frames. I generally just use pure water, hot.

Ubik 2000 is caustic soda basically diluted.

Chemicals are only used by us if needed not as a standard practice.

Hot pure water every time for gfs and cons.

I use virasol on inside of conservatories as it smells nice.

Virasol helps with limescale on windows.

Ubik helps with rubber bleed.

Hope this helps.

i use virosol for g/f/s,conny roofs and filthy first cleans with minging frames.it doesnt stain glass if it dries on the windows where i think products like UBIK do.

i wouldnt risk using ubik on any customers properties as its  very powerful.not worth the risk IMO.

I've never found much difference between Ubik or Virosol normally only use G101 these days.

It's quicker with zero ppb.
In fact, you gain time using it. I was that quick on one job I almost ended up in the drought summer of 1976 and would have had to pack up. I slowed down to get home for the Queen's Silver Jubilee.

yes the g101 definitely has more bite to it.. I have to use a face mask while putting it on the conservatories thou its nasty stuff to breathe then..  Just be careful when using it.
