Title: Removing Silicone
Post by: Joseph Michael on June 21, 2014, 01:06:36 pm
Hi guys

I am looking for some tips on how to remove silicone from windows/glass. Well, I am sure it is silicone, I have come across this a few times now. When I wash/wipe over it, it seems to disappear for a few seconds and then in front of my eyes it looks like it is reforming itself back onto the window = This is just a discription of my problem. I have tried with the blade as well but this has had no effect either.
I hope I have explained this properly and I hope somebody is able to give me best advice on how to remove this.

Joe

Hi Joe, if you try a magic eraser pad damp with water and scrub the area as hard as you can, this may remove the silicone and if not we do have a cleaning/polishing paste which again you can apply onto a damp magic eraser pad as this method will remove the silicone for sure.

could it be snail or slug trails? a scraper should do. otherwise a spray of virosol and wash off
