I've ordered some hypo for my job next week could do with a step by step guide do I wet area first then mix hypo with water in a watering can and poar over area to be cleaned leave for a dwell time( how long?) then pressure wash off?  Mixing in watering can how much hypo would you mix (ltrs) with 5 litres of water? These slabs I would love to get like new. Jamie

2/3 parts water 1 part bleach and some bubbles....15/20 mins.

you would be better off powerwashing first and then hypo

Wash it first - does 2 things, wets it but mostly shows exactly where you need to use chemicals. 1 part hypo 5 parts water 15 - 20 mins. then 3:1 on the stubborn bits.

Thank you will clean it off first then mix up 2.5ltrs water with 0.5ltr hypo apply it where needed leave 15-20 mins then turbo it off

You dont necessarily have to pressure wash off, for slabs that width you can just take a hose to it and rinse off.

Don't stand and watch it work, go away and get on with something else.

If you watch you will be convinced it's not working, and be tempted to put more down, walk away and come back 15mins later you will then see a difference ;)

I have the block paved drive to do so will get on with that at keep moving between the two areas, thanks everyone

Just to add to this Ben practising with hypo on my own property and today poured hypo which is 6 months old neat via watering can on to front foot path. Went away had a brew came back 15 minutes later and rinsed off with hose pipe. Great result a pressure washer couldn't of got it cleaner.

Once the hypo has been left to dwell for the 15mins or 20mins is it adequate to just garden hose rinse the slabs or mono blocks assuming you have already pressure washed the area and are using the hypo as an extra for cleaning?

Never used it yet as I am concerned that some one will walk on the surface after (or even a few days later when it been raining for example) then walk across their lawn killing their grass or worse walking into their house and f***ing there carpets!

If your rinsing a distance then you want a washer for the flow rates and fan jet coverage, but if you just pushing it a few inches then get a hose on it
