Title: Is Encap any good ?

Good afternoon ladies & gents.

I have just quoted for a rather large job (approx 20000 square feet), a large call centre with typical office polyprop carpets.  Has anyone used encap for this type of job ?  I could use my usual hwe machine, but I would be there all year.  Any advice would be appreciated :)

I have not seen the state it is in but the answer is almost certainly yes.

If you know anything about cleaning call centres its absolutely brilliant :)

Done loads of these and happy to pass on any advice I can.

I wouldn't dream of cleaning a call centre with hwe apart from the time it would take ! I mean 20,000 square ft ie 2,200 square yards would take forever,  never mind the humidity in the place and problems it would cause with there computer systems, ;D
encap all the way for me

Back in the days of using crystalising shampoo to maintain the Sky call centres (9 of them nearly 20 years ago) we would extract once a year.

We dreaded it every time. Complaints about noise, smell, slips, trips all by staff who don't want to be there in the first place and looking for any excuse to go home, claim or have the opportunity to moan at someone rather than being moaned at themselves.

We actually had a request to not put wet floor signs out as staff were finding them a nuisance as they would trip over them walking from one area to another reading paperwork!!

Since we moved to polymer encapsulation products we find we don't need to machine rinse everything once a year.

Some areas still need a flush through but maybe only 5-10% of the total area and they are usually stairs to the first floor, tea points, entrance mats, some canteen areas and lifts.

We would say so yes... and always get fantastic results.  98% of our work is encap domestic or commercial.

Used Dynamal yesterday, I was working in west yorkshire, thought I would try the bonets on a low profile carpet that l clean every six weeks, well I couldnt believe the amount of muck that was on the bonnets ! Good result and a fresh clean smell
