Hi,
How do you remove hardened bird poo off 2 and 3 stories when using wfp. Ive tried virosol and e cover but no use. Any ideas.
Cheers,
Steve

Soak it first.
Clean the rest, come back then scrub, scrub and scrub some more.
-
Easy fit a Gardiners scraper. Soak and scrape.

and / or turn your brush so the edge of the stock can be used to scrape the offending object

I scratched a window once doing this Bob.
Never again. Just in case.

I have also scratched windows doing this becase the brush head gets rough from hitting brick work, i should imagine it will be ok also tv as you use the bristles of the brush underneath temheb brush head

these scrapers are excellent.only a couple of quid plus the scrubbing pad which works very well on baked on bird muck. :)
-
Unfortunately the Gardiners scraper doesn't work when a Aqua Dapter is fitted!
-
If you've got a gardiners brush then loosen the two screws on the stock and insert an old credit card. Goes without saying to tighten the screws back up once its in ;D
-
Oh an old credit card sounds like a good idea. I`ll try that.
Cheers,
Steve :)

Me too. iv'e also stratched glass doing this! Never again!

just get your ladders out, why mess about, if its been there all month you will waste water and time. 2 minutes up ladders, scraper off carefully.
not worth scraping your customers glass, not very nice for them noticing that scraped glass, they may kill you.
-
they may kill you.
Bit severe don't you think

"and / or turn your brush so the edge of the stock can be used to scrape the offending object"
Super glue a strip of velcro to the edge. avoids scratching issues and works.
-
has anyone tried the gardeners scraper you atatch to your brush head, ive one but never fitted it, had it in car for over a year.
-
johnny the new ones that fit on your plastic gooseneck(or carbon gooseneck) are better as they come with a scrub pad thats fits over the scraper.very effective for baked on birdmuck,bee/fly spots etc.i find the positioning on the gooseneck better for scraping than the brush scrapers.

I`ve tried the credit card. Worked well. No scratched glass but after a couple of weeks banging the card against walls etc its practically broken in two. Anybody else find this?
