Without pics it can't be a totally accurate price but a assuming it's straightforward with good water supply and not heavily weeded

With resand just under £1000

You would also get a better range of prices moving this to general cleaning section

Darren how much do you charge per m2? How long do you estimate it would take you?

£3 on average plus a bit for sand and resanding

If good water supply and mostly FSC work 6 hrs then 2 more for re sanding

If weedy low mains pressure ( buffer tank runs dry ) then about 8

So a days work altogether then mate? Do you think a £1000 is a fair price? Just asking as id be happy with half that.

£1.50 - £3.50 seems to be the norm for pressure washing.

@ 275 SQM plus sanding a £1000 would be a good start.

Don't have any problems with that price, nor do people I quote, usually get around 70% take up

Remember it's 2 visits because you have to return to do the sanding.

Much less then I'd stick to regular window cleaning.

As a biz there are running costs, staff, vehicle, insurance, vat, rent, tax etc...
So, yes fair price if it had no weeds or tricky stuff then maybe a small discount would be offered but no lower than an all in price of £800

quoted 550. i did a patio clean for them and i charged  230 . that worked out at 3 pound a metre it took me 4 hrs . so i said i'd do the drive for 2 pound a metre .. too late to change it now i'll have to live with it. we live and learn eh

Is it badly weeded? If not you should get a nice wriggle on with a FSC. And if it's addition to other work then it's still a good tickle.

Seriously, A grand for a days work? I know it's hard and messy work compared to windows but I never realised it was such a good earner.

The last big job we did was £700 and took 4 hours to clean and 2 hours sand.

Did a small drive yesterday £250 for about 2hours work.

If the customer is happy with the price that's all that matters.

Sure, I can understand that, I just don't think many people would be happy if someone quoted a grand and did the job in one day.

I spoke to a guy the other day who said he paid £4,000 to have his roof pressure washed. He told me they did it in 2 days.

Oh right, so you have to go back the next day when it's dried out and put sand onto it?

You need to visit the general cleaning section to see really good prices 😎

There are window cleaners that think you can't earn £300 in a day on regular work,
That doesn't mean you can't or your overcharging, people work different speeds and have different equipment,

Our PW equipment is pretty good, light industrial at 21 lpm others have much better gear and cover the ground quicker and charge accordingly, or the same.

I've had plenty of people with karchers that will pay really good money because it's hard work, takes them days and the finish is not very good, they pay for an area to be cleaned, doesn't matter if it takes me an hour or a week.

For example I could build a wall but it would take me weeks, look slightly crooked and give me backache, a bricklayer may charge me £1000 but have done in a day. The result is perfect, and I've not put my back out, to me that's worth it, I don't care HOW LONG IT TOOK, IM PAYING FOR THE WALL.

same applies for cleaning windows, SFG, conny roofs, drives etc...

It's not a secret.
It can be done.
But it's getting it regularly that makes the difference.
What if it's done in a day but you don't work for the rest of the week?
People always wanna tell you their best days but, usually, are quieter on their worst or even average days earning.
DG & Soupy know the score-average money is more realistic.
If you're a PWer and getting £1k a day 5 days a week then hats off to you. But id doubt there are too many about...

Fair play to you bud.
I'm edging to buy the one that Kleenaway has for sale ATM.
Struggling to justify it though.

That's a good problem to have in business bud.
I've got 3 lads and 2 girls now.
They ain't cheap though!
A lad I know is looking for some work, he's 16 and would need cash in hand. Fancy giving him a crack?

Depends if it's dry really, for a £1000 job id be coming back two days later to sand. But OP is charging about half that ;) so yeah in a day would be great.

£300-£400 days on windows is achievable.

I managed to clear £1800 In one week on windows.  The following week I had mon-we'd off as I was physically dead.

Todo £300-£400 EVERY day on windows would be very hard.

If I picked cream work then yeah I could average that a day. But it would take me another 10 years to fill my round with all cream

just curious.....when PW ing a driveway do you normally use the customers own water supply or carry your own?

how much water do you think you might use on say a 100 sq mtrs driveway?

how much extra per mtr would you charge  if you were to seal aswell?

Customers water every time, you use to much at 14 litres a minute
