Has anyone used this brush? any good?
Thinking of getting it just for Gutter and Con Roofs.
Is it any good for first cleans as an alternative brush for those really dirty frames and sils?

Been using it today on a roof. TBH i think its a good brush for window cleaning in general.
The best bit about this brush is the crevices on upvc frames. It really does get into the gaps.
My only advice would be to go for fan jets. Pencil jets on connys and upvc can lead to issues like today! Neighbor decides to put washing out!!!

Good Idea about using Fan jets, and putting that idea into my head sounds good for con roofs and gutters. I always use pencil jets, but am looking for a brush that is good for Conny roofs, gutters and dirty frames. As you say, the gaps in the frames is the reason I am looking at this brush.
They are easy and quick to change on the SLX. Looking at the guide listed on the Gardeners website only rates this stiff brush it 1 tick for con roofs and Gutters. The Medium brushes range from 2 to 3 ticks for this. SO a little confused at their rating especially when they call this the Sill brush.

Yeah just seen that, tak it from me. I carry close to 15 brushes and for a conny roof. Its a stiff sill brush :)

The Super-LiteŽ Radius-Sill Brush Dual-Trim Stiff Bristles - Has a 1 tick rating for Cons roofs and gutters yet a stiff brush
The Super-LiteŽ Radius-Sill Brush Dual-Trim Medium-Mixed Bristles - Has a 3 tick rating for Cons roofs and gutters yet medium brush and cheaper.
I have a Dual-Trim Medium Mixed brush at the moment on my new SLX but finding it does not have the scrubbing power yet this has a 2 tick rating for con roofs and gutters - which rates it better than the Radius Sill stiff brush and first cleans & con roofs/gutter cleans.
Am I missing something here ?

For scrubbing power stiff brushes wont have the same as a medium. As they dont splay out as much and tend to "skip" dirt.
The thing with connys is you wanna get into corners and nooks and crannys. For me the stiff brush is the best.
If you want ulimtate scrubbing power then you want a flocked dual trim brush.
When do gutter lines if you angle a sill brush correctly you can really smash through the work ;)

The brush chart is just a guide based on my working perspective to try and help out with brush purchasing and using decision. This does not mean it is definitive or will be agreed with by others.
I have always found softer bristles clean better on PVC and polycarbonate especially when green - hence the 3 ticks for the medium sill brush. Perhaps 1 tick is a little harsh on the stiff version, but I find that the stiffer bristles do not cover the surface as well.
It could be that for much dirtier and trickier roofs and gutters the stiffer bristles can be more aggressive. I have noted you feedback Pure H20 and may have a go with both sorts again on a roof next time I am out :)

Not enough in my opinion - I only do about 1-2 days a month and I sub the rest of the rounds out.
1-2 days is just enough time to work with various products and for me to give them a good days testing - I would like to spend longer actually working on the glass, but simply do not have the time in my schedule anymore. The rest of the testing is done by some long term clients and my team of sub-contractors who get used to having to work with whatever products I am trying out at the time.

yeah i use one for conny roofs and f/s/g cleans.good brush and very robust.it will last a long time.

I have the old (red bristles - not dual trim) sill brush and thought it was great.
I now have the medium dual trim sill brush and it's actually better. I use this for S.F.G & connie roofs all the time and it's great. Stick the new Gardiners scraper on the back of it and you're sorted.
I luvs sill brushes me!
Too bluuuuudy heavy though! ;D
