So following on from Dazmonds post

How much do you think you've wasted on duff purchases ? ;D
anything window cleaning related , whether it be a telescopic pole, some gizmo meant to save you water or that bargain water heater on ebay that turned out to use the wrong type of gas :D
I'll start things rolling with the two most expensive purchases I made that spring to mind ( probably more to add as I remember them ), a 40 ft emporium modular pole and a merlin ro, total £775

very little , i always stayed with gardiners for poles and brushes, always been happy
i use the aqua tap now rather than the aqua adapter, but the AD was good
i feel everything i have had was good but was then superseded by better things

agreed, very little. probably about £50 or less on crap I dont use.
One example is the old style scrimms. I never liked them. I now have the blue microfiber scrims and since I am WFP they will last me years and years.

I would have said my Pure Freedom reel, but since taking 20m of hose off it is problem free.
Xtel pole though was my first pole. Still using a Merlin "lent" to me by Cliff Perkins so that is my best "buy".

A Brodex alloy pole, 30 metres of reinforced pole hose, various o rings which I still can't fathom out how to use them! I'll think of more later!
-
years ago i wasted money on
25 ft brodex hydra pole
streamline glass fibre pole
both these poles IMO are rubbish for wfp.
sections 4 and 5 for the unger teleplus trad pole(NEVER BEEN USED!)
so about £350.not bad really.you live and learn! ;D
oh yes!and £63 on THE WRONG HEATER!! ::)roll ;D ;D ;D

Dunno, but it's lots.
I'd probably cry if I were to add up all the useless junk I've bought over the years.
Wouldn't have the greatest system ever built without a bit of trial and error though.
Edit: unless of course you count the ZeroTM which can clean a window just by looking at it.
