Has anyone used or got one of the Q washers mudsuckers? Am I right in thinking if I've got pools of standing mucky water I can use one of these to pump it away?
As I've got a job coming up where the patio falls away from the drains so need someway of getting it towards the drains any ideas?
-
they are good at moving large amounts quickly but you need a small amount over a longer period and a puddle pump is better for that
-
Have bit the bullet and ordered one as i don't want to be using electricity anywhere near water so hopefully it will come in handy and not just be another ornament in the van.
-
Let me know what you think of it robkav when you get it
-
I have one, really good if you need to move a lot of water quickly. Order the 10m as the standard one is a bit short.
-
Ordered the one without the hose as I can get it locally, will let you know how i get on with it.
-
I have one and i did a job were water was just piling in a corner i used it to get rid to the front of the house then carried on and used as and when. It doe's a great job defo a good buy.

Looks great I need to get that or something very similar, had a few drives this week that the drainage was down hill towards house/garage with no drainage! The people who lay these need shot!! How long do you think the outlet hose can go? Would it work with a 20/30 metre hose?
Thanks Gavin

Yes it will Damian sells quick releases to add and remove pipe easily
-
Cheers will get one ordered ASAP and speak about the additional outlet pipe.
Thanks

I'm a bit stumped by this,
To remove standing water/flooding you put the mudsucker on the end of your hose/lance place in water and turn on PW ? Do you keep it running until the water is gone or is there a syphon effect so when water starts down pipe you turn off PW?
Do you, can you have it fitted to end of lance or just hose ?
Cheers
