Title: Acid rain or calcium deposits?
Post by: Colm Digby on June 10, 2014, 09:42:28 am
Hi,

I was gone from my house for a few months and during that time there was a lot of heavy rain which has left the circular stains on the windows as you can see in the image attached. I have tried scrubbing with hot water and soap, even with a decal product which did not do much good. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this from the windows?

 Many Thanks

 Colm

If its calcium stains then purchase a tub of Ettore paste and dab a damp cloth into paste and apply to glass in a circular motion. Its a bit time consuming but should do the trick.

Some marks can never be removed.

If they are etched far enough into the glass.

Certain marks can be polished out but not always.

Colm,

Titan A1 is capable of removing all the below staining, may be worth a try before a pro is called in, let me know if you need anymore information...

A1 can be used on glass, porcelain, fiberglass, metal, and tile and with no acids, it’s safe to use on and around all natural stones.

Here's the list of stain's A1 can help on...
• Mineral Deposits
• Water Spots
• Acid Rain
• Silica
• Screen Burn
• Soap Scum
• Oxidation
• Scale
• Lime
• Corrosion
• Rust

Oh and welcome to the forum!

Thanks
Mike
