I have a tub of Formula 90 . I use a truck mount what is the best way of using this product is it a pre spray? Also is this for general use woollen carpet? And lastly is this product any good? cheers Steve

Make a stock solution for your truckmount, as per the instruction on the container.
If you follow the woolsafe ethos then no you can't use it on wool & yes as the worlds best selling detergent it's good stuff

would you use a presray as well or just as a stock solution and what would you metre it at in your last step chemical injection, but would it leave carpet alkaline with a ph of 10 plus cheers Steve

Some do use it as a pre spray but presprays have additives that aid cleaning but cannot be left on a carpet which is not a problem as they are rinsed off, F90 does not have the benefit of these additives as a certain amount of it will be left in the carpet.... You might as well use a dedicated pre-spray.
I'm not that familier with chemical injection system so can't advice of their usage but I'm sure the instructions on the containers gives the details.
Yep it would leave the carpet alkaline while damp, dry carpet has no ph reading

I think it gives dilution ratios on the side of the drum for truck mounts with chemical injection
it says 700gms to 19 litres of water that will be hottish otherwise it wont devolve
fill container half full with warm water , slowly add one and a half pounds or 700 gms of formula 90 and warm water simultaneously until container reaches 5 gallons ie 19 litres it ametican gallons by the way, 3.77 aprox
then stir mixture 2-3 minutes or until the powder is dissolved

One scoop per litre of water makes a good truck mount stock solution. Also works very well as a pre-spray or an in tank detergent. Its a high crystalising product so leaves virtually no residues on the fibres.
