Mrs Croft sounds like a right pain in the bottom. She's getting her fence fixed by the council in the first place and I reckon the builders are saving the council money by not getting portaloos put on site (thereby increasing their costs).
My dog wees everywhere and when it rains, which it does frequently, I'm sure it just gets washed away.
-
I can't believe this made the national 'press' ::)roll.
-
At least he watered the plants ;D ;D . Mike
-
That's probably just a watered down version of the story.
Perhaps wee wee never know the full story.
-
Mrs Croft sounds like a right stupid old biddy! I'd have compensated the builder for having to put up with the woman!
-
I dont think the builder would have been that bothered to be sacked...
Once he'd been paid, he'd have probably pi55ed it up the wall anyway
-
I was chatting to a friend who lives next door to one of my customers (they don't know he's a friend). The customer apparently complained to her husband that I could not have cleaned their back windows as they had had a new fence and gate installed and I could not have got over it. I did of course and her husband showed her on his phone as unbeknown to me they have CCTV installed. I am a bit pd off to be truthful about it. The lack of trust that I would bill them and not do them for a start, but the secret filming, the complaint to a neighbour and so on.
-
I'd be pee'd at that as well, horrible customer.....
-
always wee in a bucket in van, then swill under drain. What harm does it do anyway

No. Use it on the windows as it's a pretty good cleaning agent.
-
but the secret filming,
I think it's a mistake to take the 'secret filming' as personal. I doubt they installed CCTV to check up that you're doing your job properly; they'll have it there as a security device.
I'm thinking about installing one and if I had a window cleaner, I doubt I'd think to tell him about it; I'd just expect him to clean the windows and not be bothered about being filmed doing them, since all he would be doing is cleaning windows.

No, I haven't taken the filming personally. More the whining to a neighbour and the cockiness of it being on film I guess. I suppose I feel kind of shifty being filmed going over the gate. Slightly irrational I accept.
That said, I would never pee in someone's garden. I would expect to be sacked if I did and was caught.
-
I've peed in gardens.
Been caught too.
One customer apologised to me!
I just said 'sorry mate, just had to go'
He was fine about it.
Don't anymore though.
I've got enough cafés and pubs to keep me covered.
-
The trick is to do it over the drain below the kitchen window, The cill is higher and you can just see over it to wave to the customer with your free hand while you are doing it.
;D

I've ordered a Shewee for Wor Lass so she can go in customer's gardens especially.
Normally what happens is that we have one house left to do and she goes, "I need the toilet; NOW!" >:(
