Title: For those that use a booster pump
Post by: chez on June 07, 2014, 07:38:26 pm
Hey guys.
Quick question for a mate of mine. He needs to use a booster pump as his pressure is not enough for RO. Do you have to use a separate tank full of water that the booster pump draws from or is it sufficient to just plumb the booster pump straight into the mains. Cheers in advance.

After the mains tap, you're boosting the pressure not flow so theres no need for a tank to draw from

Yeah, I've got one. As Don Kee says. Mine is situated just after the three pre-filters, plumb into booster pump then booster pump to RO. Just helps the mains pressure along.
