Title: Trading Standards Issue?
Post by: garry22 on June 04, 2014, 10:48:51 am
I've just been chuckling at an item in today's paper.

A man in Malaysia has complained to their Trading Standards body about a recent purchase.

He paid the equivalent of £ 100 for a pen is enlarger.

When he opened the package (pardon the pun) there was just a magnifying glass!

It had an instruction leaflet that told him not to use it in bright sunshine  ;D

Best one I've seen is the very clever Irishman who started selling dirt to the Americans so they could have a real piece of Ireland at home because their great great great great granddaddy was Irish. Sold in Irish bars across the states as well as online. http://www.auldsodgifts.com/official-irish-dirt

How about water from the river Piddle? Honest, it's a real river in Dorset. Would I lie to you? ;D
