Hi, we have a contract that is high reach inside glass that cannot be reached via ladder or access platforms. In addition the customer does not really want them squeegeed due to runs etc.
We are looking at vikan easy shine or dragonfly or someone else suggested clean/new applicator obj a servo pole.
Any recommendations or advice gratefully received.

No need for expensive high reach equipment or ladders....... just a little waffle cloth. :P
-
ok at the risk of being a dumb blonde. What is a waffle cloth?

A wagtail on a pole is pretty effective. How high are you talking? I've easily got to 20ft with wagtail and pole.

Forget the easyshine kit! The inventor of the easyshine should be tortured and then shot at dawn! :(

fair enough. Wagtail is still applicator and squeegee though??

Its an applicator and squeegee combined, the mop part is a small micro fibre pad that hangs below and catches the drips when fanning. Decent results can be achieved, it's far better than just pushing the dirt around on the window. But if the custy doesn't want a squeegee being used it might take some convincing.

Hi Tony, Little waffle glass cloths are ideal for cleaning internals especially when you dont want any spills or splashes, if you use a 3x2 mtr or 5x2 mtr ext pole take off the end cap and you can slot in a 30cm flat aluminum mop frame the type that has two velcro strips, use one little waffle cloth damp and stick it to the velcro strips and proceed to clean at your required height, then take off the damp waffle cloth and stick on a dry waffle cloth to polish off the glass for a streak free finish.
