I have been telling custies since January that the price is going up, but I put this custy up by £2 because I dont really want to clean him.
text is "I have sent you £10 today and will pay £12 on your next clean!"
Now most time I would just brush this off but I gave the price and explained the price increase and he basically thinks its now time to bargian.
My reply is going to be " cusy, I put the new price on the invoice, if you feel my work is not worth that then you need to find a new window cleaner."

texts can be misread and mis understood .... ask anyone with an ex wife ::)roll
maybe they sent 10 quid and then realised it was supposed to be 12 and thought can be arsed relogging back into bank to send 2 quid
if it were me I would just let it go or put 14 on next invoice :)

I know this customer, this was intentional. he is basically saying he didn't know about the price rise and is paying the old price and will pay the price rise next time.
I dont really care most times but miffed today because he thinks he can dictate the price and not me.

if u don't want him then bill him 14 quid next time ;)

My reply
"Custy, I have been telling customers since january about the price rise. Its £12. You have paid £10 so it will be £14 next time since you are £2 in debit."
