Title: What pressure washer connection?
Post by: supernova77 on June 01, 2014, 10:05:39 pm
Hello All,

I have a Demon Hurricane D1ES pressure washer...

Is anyone able to tell me which fitting I need to buy to screw into the section on the pressure washer pictured (the broken bit inside has now been removed) which will then allow me to connect standard pressure washer hose to it?

Many Thanks,
Andy  ;)

a lot of pressure washing gear uses a 3/8 thread so maybe try that??

Buy a return to tank unloader.

That is the putlet of the unloader what is mossing so will also require the non return valve (looks like a bullet), I would not bother trying to source them as those unloaders are crap in my eyes, Ive had loads on machines that have come into me and 99 percent of them have a cracked piston to go with it :)
As chris says, buy an unloader, preferably a k5.1, you will also need a few other bits like a new inlet fitting which will be a 1/2inch bsp to 3/4 hose tail, also you will need....
3/8 bsp male / male
3/8 bsp male / female
1/2 bsp male to 1/2 hosetail
3 meters of 3/4 inch suction hose
3 meters of 1/2 return hose
and a weighted suction filter
 ;D

Also worth looking at the pistons for damage  ;D

Thanks for the info...

Why would there be piston damage?

All that happened is the connection pictured snapped as I was tightening something else up... The machine is running fine!

Also the suction hose inlet is the silver connection that you can see in the picture, which has 3m of suction hose attached to it which in turn has a weighted suction filter fitted to it  ;)

Because those unloaders return straight back to the head, if the machine is running fine and up to full pressure then no need to check  ;D
