For ghose that have aqua tap I'm trying to pull out silver pins to re grease
Took out small spouts in/out.
Then used pliers long nosed to try and pull out pins; ridiculous been at it for 40 minutes; I am not thag weak.
Any ideas anyone?

I'd suggest swapping it for an Aqua Dapter....... ;)

Hi Lee
I took mine out using a pair of small snips / wire cutter type pliers as i found normal normal pliers too blunt.
I also came at it from the top of the tap and used the rim as a leverage point
Also make sure the pins are in the centre, ie twist the tap left to right and centralised the pins.
Once you have them out you will find they come out a lot easier after that
Mark munro as a video on you tube on the subject if that helps

Thanks very much bobplum.
Seen marks video and saw the pins on his aqua tap protrude more but suppose he has removed them a few times.
Here what your saying bobplum about centralising pins in slots, had another go no joy; emailed peter fogwell on the subject.
I found it annoying when I got aquatap that there were no instructions in the box.
Might find small snips at my dads place tomorrow.
J.D-I have aqua dapter also but find the aquatap slighty better.
I do think the aquadapter is a good bit of kit though.

Lee, I found only pincers worked well. Very gently though. Having removed them a few times to get the tightness how I want it, one of the pins has now come out and is lost. I have emailed Peter and offered to buy the pins but no reply and no pins as of yet :(
