Title: Drip drip drip
Post by: mlscontractcleaner on May 29, 2014, 02:21:54 pm
I have a bit of a problem; only a silly one but annoying none the less.

Irrespective of what connector I use in my external port to connect my hose reel to when it's not connected I get a constant drip, drip, drip.

I use the orange coloured, Hoselock type connectors, the actual Hoselock yellow connectors don't work as they won't tighten enough when pushed through a port so leak all over the place when you switch the pump on.

Am I just being thick here???

Any suggestions folks???

Id imagine the rubber 'o' ring need replacing, you can buy them from b&q
Hozelocks (plastic) will always wear after a while

On a side note, can you fit brass connections on your van port, instead of plastic?
Brass connections will last ages

Those plastic Hozelock connectors are total garbage for wfp use! They are produced to leak !
