Title: Van contents insurance ?
Post by: wpclean on May 28, 2014, 10:58:31 am
What companies insure the waterfed system, and tools in the van ?  I paid £150 last year for a policy that covered the system only up to £3 k.    Would appreciate any advice for best policies, thanks.

I think I got mine through AXA, but you have to use them for public liability insurance to get the tool cover

Waste of time unless you are anal about locking the van at every stop.

I think the point Granville was making is that any contents insurance will be void if you do not have your van locked at all times while working.

If you have your van doors open while working, like me, and opportunistic thief makes off with a carbon pole or whatever, tough!

I just don't trust the sods to payout in the result of a claim! They will bend over backwards to find something so they can squirm out of it!  >:(
