Title: Register your company?
Post by: paul ette on May 25, 2014, 11:50:52 am
I'm registered with the tax office as self employed etc, but do I need to register as a company? I see company numbers on invoices from other people etc and looked online and see you can register your companies details, but what's the point in doing this?

There might be tax advantages in being a Limited Company - speak to your accountant.

We're not VAT registered but we are Ltd.  Saves us a significant amount of tax.

When the cost of the accountant is outweighed by the savings +10% I reckon that is the time to go ltd.
