Hate working weekends !!!! Work hard all week, we now work sat or sun eve to do 3 office cleaning jobs. Done plenty weekend work now try not to as it gives me the hump on Friday eve when you know ya gotta be up early sat morning. As I'm older now can't be to bothered as long as I got enough money to pay wages, mortgage, bills and what else needs paying I don't care like I use to when I was younger as your attitude changes as you get older. I don't need the money for designer clobber and nightclubbing those days are gone lol !!!!
I don't spend money on me anymore as I don't need to, I've got nice house nice car decent vans and that does me.

I did the last 3 Saturdays (and last couple of bank holidays) but got a gap in the round today and not much on next week either.

I normally do Gutter Vac's/Soffit and Fascia cleans a Saturday rather than window cleaning if I can help it.

Why ive had my break,no one in the house especially no wife
at home with lists of jobs

Did some running and a few hours fishing believe me i havent
missed out, i take mt time off to suit myself and not when
tradition dictates.

nice job for four hours at double what i would normally earn per
hour, nice morning in the countryside then the afternoon fishing
at a local complex.

dont see the problem. ;)

I thought one of the benefits of being self employed was working hours that suit.
Not the hours or days that a company or other window cleaners dictate. I love all this it being 'sad' or 'get a life' rubbish  ::)roll.
Remember, the hours that suit one person might not suit another. Most of my days are the same but with different names.

If you lot think Saturday working is bad, I'm off out to do 3 easy jobs today in stunning surroundings and in the sunshine as well.

I get bored indoors.

Window cleaning is a easy job i think? I know people who work 6 12 hour days every week and still manage it, so how will 6 days of window cleaning make your tired for the next week  ;D
Plus saturdays are good for payers and new work because more people in the houses

What a pile of poo.

We've been doing 7 day weeks for the past 13 years; we've just employed someone to do weekends for us now; they start next Saturday ......we clean night clubs day to day aswell as windows and carpets and have been in budiness for 22 years.

It is tiring but it gave us a good life style and amazing holidays.

I think you can also become bone idle in this job! Just look at Franky for example, he only does a 3 day week!

I work one Saturday a month, do a round with massive houses, in the week they are never in and cannot get through the electric gates, one man said they been thru 3 window cleaners in 2 years, they go round in the week and no1 is in, big gates are locked etc and they give up in the end. Thinking ahead and working a Saturday a month works out for me especially at £25 a pop ;)
