Title: Skylight cleaning
Post by: JetVac Cleaning on May 24, 2014, 09:06:15 am
Got to go and price a job on Wednesday to clean some skylights on a factory roof! Anybody know the safest method  to do this on a roof like this? Think there is about 50 but looks like a old asbestos roof to me in the aerial view pic. Also this would be my first job like this with access problems so what should I charge if I don't walk away from it that is!

Be very careful as you WILL be in the poo if you clean asbestos and release fibres. The access will be at the very least on crawling boards. If its a newer aluminium or steel cladding then the jobs easy but big it up, MEWP and then deck scrub with TFR or HYPO depending on the soiling then a quick rinse off. Don't go in cheap as there won't be a long queue for this job
