I was cleaning today with hot water. Half way through job I noticed where the pole hose connects into the reel hose was blown away up and looked like it was about to burst. I let it cool down and the hose is now about twice the size and is all floppy. I don't know if the water being hot had anything to do with it. The hose is only a couple of months old. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Steve

What temperature was the hot water?
Some hoses aren't designed to take 30 degree plus heat.

not sure. my boiler doesn't give temperatures, just high or low. the flow rate when you turn it up makes the water hotter. the flow rate was quite high so the boiler was going well. I haven't used the hot water much so maybe it was too hot. you learn by your mistakes.

which one have you got?

Which 'pole hose' are you using for hot water?

Should you be using the pole hose or is it copywritten to somebody else....?
:P :P ;D ;D

You've got a bulbous hose mate! Probably an infection which will need treated! The hot hose may have been interfering with the cold hose! 8)
