What would be your average price? I am new to quoting driveways so unsure of all the little details you get to know the more and more you do it.
Just would like a general idea really so I know im not going way above or below normal pricing.

You sound like some of the emails I get where they give you m2 and expect a price off that.
Extent of soiling, drainage, will any chems need to be used to shift stains, are there any ponds etc, is the pointing failing and do they understand if it is then pressure washing will pull it out in places.

It's all down to experience! You should expect to sting yourself on your first few cleans! Price high and then add another £100, then you might get there. Trial & error....

Yep definately that what i ment by unsure of the little details! Always get caught out by something unexpected on the first few.

£280.00 + £245.00 get both then £500.00. That is what i would expect but it depends where you are and other factors . Ed

Where have you plucked them prices from?? Have i missed something here...the guy hasnt even said what the surface is and your telling him to quote £3.50 a sqm. It could be lightly soiled concrete flags or it might be a PIC drive that needs cleaning, stripping, repairing and resealing. Both of them extremes but it could be either of them or a million things in between

Danny , i did say other factors !!!! , my quote will be to clean the surface only. I charge the same price per sq mtr regardless what the surface. If you are going down the route stripping, sealing , staining , ect ect then the quote is adjusted accordingly. Ed

Do you charge the same to clean block paving, concrete flags and pic? Their is a big difference in cleaning times for these as im sure you know so i just though thats a bit odd. It wasnt a dig at you i just think that he would be better charging a day rate rather that per sqm if "you" have no idea what the surface is

Danny, no offence taken. As i said also depends where you are around the country. If i charge them prices in some regions i would never get out of the van. Approx 75 percent of my quotes gets converted into a booking. I also have an income stream of regular customers that
know my standard of work and have a great working relationship with .
