Title: Someone claiming to work for me on Facebook
Post by: Richard Meads on May 21, 2014, 09:08:00 pm
The reputation my businesses is  at risk by this guy who claims to work for me on Facebook. As  business owners we have no control over who Facebook publishes as working for us. I have in fact someone who claims to work for me, but does not, I've never met him. If he posts dodgy pictures or bad language on his Facebook page it would reflect badly on my business, we go into clients homes in a position of trust.

Facebook have ignored my requests for something to be done, so I've started a petition, please sign to show that something needs to be done and to get Facebook to make some changes and give us control over our businesses pages.

I've contacted him, couple of times, no reply, if he has a business over there, then he should set up his own page. On the facebook forum there are lots of businesses in the same situation.  You can claim to work for any company with a facebook page and it's just accepted, it's really open for abuse. To top it off every few days I get a message from facebook "Do you know Eric ............"

Can you not post on his page, from the business page, saying he's sacked for being crap.

If he blocks your business page, job done, he won't be able to have you as employer.

You could have fun, say Eric was late again this morning ;D
