How long does it take you to make 400 litres? I am going to have to start producing more water and need to know if my system is taking an average time to produce, thanks.

Non pumped 450GPD does 50L an hour for us
Non pumped 100GPD does 20L an hour for us
Non pumped 150GPD does 25L an hour for us
Non pumped 50GPD does 15L an hour for us
Gives you some idea of what ours used to do/does :)

Thanks guys for the help.

Sorry40/40. !
-
I bought the pure freedom 4040 ro as my 1 was old and past it that i had in my garage, at 80-100 psi from 300ppm it goes to 15ppm which im more than happy with as it fills so fast.
Yes waste is a lot less! Its 50/50 ratio wast to pure.

Anyone who gets away with di only is so lucky, I use a 40/40 and takes 3 hours to fill a 400 litre tank, used to use a 450 GDP one and took forever

CRIPES, I need to upgrade. have a 200GPD ro\di and 500L will take a day for me. I just turn it on in the morning and go work or run it on the weekend. I always have about 500L in reserve in the 1000L tank.

4040 1000 litres in just over 4 hours had 300 gpd ro it took just over 24 hours to do 1000 litres

Apart from the cost of resin long term it is far cheaper to run an RO , Depends on your set up ie parking issues van mounted RO etc as to whether you find it a pain with an RO the cost of resin in a year could easily buy a really good RO . Mike

Spose your right, I havnt changed my resin since using my 40/40 which is about 3 months and it's still coming out at 00 ppm

My 400gpd system with built in pumps produces about a litre per minute. Supposed to switch it off for 30mins after every 2 hours though, so it can be a pain.
-
About 40 litres an hour, 4040 but with low water pressure and no pump
-
How much is a 40/40 unit? Couldnt find it on pure freedom. Thanks.

thats what I was told to do, go to asda and buy a plug with a timer for a couple of quid and just set it to run for 2 hours and off for half a hour. simple :)
-
I make 2 litres per min, 120 litres per hour so just over 3 hours per 400 litres.

1 hour with twin 4020 pumped at 160 psi
