Last Tuesday was on my way to work and the engine let go, it was quite violent and shuddered then freed off. Instantly thought its the cam chain.
I have heard of cam chains going but not at 66,000 miles.
Anyway the van hit 66,666 miles ::)roll on saturday lol. Got the report on saturday just gone.
ENGINE IS TOTALLY FUBAR!
So gonna have to flintstone it everywhere from now on.
Its a 2006 combo, 66,690 miles and engine has gone what a joke lol

The devil s come to claim his van back lol [666]

That is serious bad luck! That should not have happened !

i wonder if thats the same engine as the doblo 1.3 as mine chain went at 50k odd, if you look around you will be able to get it reconditioned for about 1500

Is a 1300 engine up to shifting the sorts of weights we carry?

Thats what i though but the chap said the clutch usually slips first. Van has always been under weight!
But yeah it could be, i only had a 350 tank tho!
