Title: UK Corporate Portal Scam

Another scam doing the rounds which I have not seen before....
A letter arrived in the post this morning headed "Publication of companies and VAT registration numbers in the UK Portal 2014".

The letter basically was asking me to confirm my business details and a vat number if applicable and sign documentation as part of changes to the EU economic package.  ::)roll

If you do sign the paperwork and send it back the nice people at UK Corporate Portal will send you an invoice for £797, as you would of agreed to of paid for advertising on their webpoope etc.  >:(

Trading standards are aware of them.

Yeah we got one today, i was like wtf!

Looked pretty official on the second page, all printed out etc.

Knew it was a scam tho!
