need some ventilation in there man! Shutting the place up straight after cleaning is not the best idea. Also how did you clean it? Commercial extraction or a vax type thing :-\ (No offence!). Finally have you tried more of a commercial neutraliser or odour remover?

used a steam pro cleaner on it and pro cem carpet cleaner chemical. im wondering if its wet dogs gone through carpet which is like 10p a meter hessian backed no underlay and gone in to the caravan flooring.

M Power will help in that situation :)

Enzyme detergent sprayed down hot, left to dwell then extracted. Mix in some deodouriser. Odour could be in upholstery as well.

Agree with both points made by Steve and John, did you use a pre spray?
-
no pre spray. Thanks for the advice guys

A lot of dog smells are caused by the oils from the fur transfering to the fibres. Bacteria then feed on this oil which can be a cause of the more potent smells.
This oil needs to be broken down then removed thats why it is important to use a suitable product as a pre-spray and give adequate dwell time. To try and just clean with the wand is futile.

we bought a caravan from dog owners and it took me a while to get rid of the smell (which was quite bad to be honest) i hoovered hell out of it, hwed it with m power, and then lay down a few layers of m power with a few days gap between which certainly did the trick. heres the thing, we had our first weejend away this weekend in our non doggy smelling van and its been a great weekend, but, the missus has just been on to on load some stuff (think shes after the red wine) and apparntly it stinks of dog just as bad again????? (we dont have dogs obviously) so, im going to have to start from step one again, which i find a bit odd....

just been on the van, its actually come back worse???????

We sell the same type of product as Mpower, ours is called Bioclean. This is a good product but does not have the emulsifying power to deal with heavy dog odours. Especially at 1-120 dilution rates.

Which product would to recommend John?

ive done ours this afto, and after hwe ive misted m power at 80 to 1, will see if its okay in morning, seems fine now!!!!

Enzall or Craftex Pre Enzyme Solution. Kill Odour or Kill Odour Plus sprayed on before extraction is belt and braces. Never failed yet if done properly.
