Thanks Danny. I have the thermobore from gardiner, perfect during winter time with hot water but with cold is a nightmare. looking more for 50 or 60 metres of minibore, don't need 100 metres to be honest.

Have used cold water with Thermobore hose for 16 months now without issue throughout all weathers the cheap lightweight hose reels Gardiners sells is a good hose reel that will last about 18 months not bad for the money . Mike

No probs Ben. I did buy the red 8mm Thermobore but with hot kept making my jet fall off the hose in the brush as I use the hexagon jets from Omnipole as they seem to make the water squirt out faster. Didn't think about keeping it for cold so chucked it in the garage. I use the yellow 8mm no probs with it m8. I think the longer the better as I can park up and reach around care homes with only two moves 👳✔
