Title: Extreme brush and super scraper
Post by: Clever Forum Name on May 09, 2014, 10:14:59 pm
Pretty good combo tbh. Well impressed with it.

The only think I hated with the extremes was the lack of scrubbing power in bird poop. But with the scraper it's a really good combo.

The only thing I have done is put a rubber band on the white pad part and just use that for bird poo.

Anyone else using them?

It's a great help for me as it means I can use a lighter setup :)

Ordered a hybrid extreme yesterday. My mate's been using one but said he swapped over to a sill brush for a job today which he said was like putting a brick on the end in comparison.

They are heavier but much better to use.
But do wear quick

The cill brush I meant.
I find them much quicker and I feel I've done a better job on the cill with them.
I only use extreme brushes on commercial as I don't do cills anyway on most of mine.

Does the rubber band not make it feel like Dazmond's extreme pole with added aquadapta?  ;D

That's where I got my band from ;D

Brilliant bit of kit - works with a swivel too and even fits through railings plus of course it saves water.

I might fit a different colour pad though - mine is no longer white - it's gone bird poope colour.

As a scraper it is fairly ineffective but with a pad its brillo.

It would be possible to get the pads made in different colours, however this would make it a lot harder to check the pad for embedded dirt or grit before using it each time.

As a scraper it is fairly ineffective but with a pad its brillo.

During the months of testing we found the scraper to be very useful on things like paint/varnish & cement etc as long as the edge was kept protected when not using it by keeping the abrasive pad fitted.

For things like snail trails, caterpillar track, bird's mess and bee spots the abrasive pad is probably quicker.

As long as abrasive pad doesn't damage windows I don't care about the scraper bit lol.
