Do you want people to phone up and book? If so yes put the prices on, but make them cheap enough for people to just book you..
Do you want higher prices? then no don't put prices on, and sell your service to them at a higher price..

Is that the full plan? Are you repeat dropping on areas you want to build up? blanket dropping a large area?

No price! Unless you know you're one of the cheapest.
Get the info correct on the leaflet, that should get the custys calling you.
-

ah right!!!
one girl is repeat dropping in an area i work in, this will probably a bi monthly repeat but may make it monthly and the other girl will be in a completely new area to me so that will probably be a continuous drop monthly for the next three months or so
one girl has to work it around work commitments so it may be a longer process
the other has more time (new area) so that will hopefully be done month after month
i have to say with doubt the distribution is the hardest part of leafleting, design and printing not a problem, and the small experience i have of it is that it has to planned and coordinated, still early days yet ;D
-
Sounds good bob, IMO leaflet areas/estates on a WEEKLY basis for fantastic results. Time the drops to take place a couple of days before you are working in that area.
Good luck mate!

Mine are not inspiring :o Simple, no picture design, Logo/name colours match our branding. All have prices on. A5, glossy. Delivered always by myself and a helper or 2.

You deliver leaflets to the same houses on a weekly basis?
Would it not be quicker to knock on their door and sell your service
-
Correct WEEKLY (when we are round building)
Knocking, No, far too slow IMO
-
i like the phrase blanket dropping
bit like carpet bombing
thatd be 1 good reason to go into carpet cleaning, just so i could say on my website" carpet bombing in suffolk"
-
ive just put a new leaflet together with photos ,and a box with per month left blank to fill in after a quick reckey at the property, if get a call i ask if they have a conny and adjust the price if they have

Err???
Re leafletting week after week to the same house for it to get binned each time or knock once and see if they actualy need a cleaner?? id say the leaflet method each week to the same houses would be the far too slow method.
Grow some balls and sell yourself at the door and canvass and leave a leaflet if they are not home, will save time and build up at a much faster rate.
I try not to participate in leaflet threads as it upsets vince who also hasnt the minerals to knock and sell himself however what you said about door knocking being the slower method against repeat leafletting the same houses over and over each week is simply nuts unless i have read it wrong??.
-
I try not to participate in leaflet threads
Obviously not trying hard enough!!
-
Mick, stick to knocking! I will stick to leaflets, I will be starting my 4th 'full time' van next month through leaflets alone! Think that's quick enough pal! 8)
Every hour I leaflet brings in 7 jobs on average.
Its not whats on your leaflet its how you leaflet and what standard of clean you do for your local community.
As regards to knocking, I worked for Everest 'Fit the Best' cold calling, my balls are massive!
;D
-
I think 7 jobs evey hour is bullcrap ive been cleaning windows 20 years it drpends on luck on the estate u dropping them so u saying u leaflet for 8 hours you get 56 houses ye right !
-
Thanks for your input Carl. Heres to your next 20 years!!!!!
If you want my correct stats you are slighlty out.
From 9 hours of leafletting in January I have 83 new accounts serviced every 4 weeks.
Keep up the good work.

Totalling £? Per month though David?
Over 9 regular decent customers an hour is certainly a rate neither myself or anyone I know of could achieve. But if you have, hats off!
-
defo on so i can go round underpricing ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
One of the good things about putting a price on your leaflet as Lee Pryor once explained here and it made sense to me, is that when you get a call then its generally to do the job you aint going out quoting. Obviously it depends upon your local "competition", if your local competition is a couple of rag arses then pricing twice them should be no problem.
-
Time and time again I tell everyone on here.
ITS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU LEAFLET. NOT HOW MANY YOU PUT OUT!!!!!!!!!!
I could not of achieved those results starting out.
If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
Dedication, ooohhh dedication.
-
Poleking. These where all on our 2014 pricing structure.

I don't care how good your leaflet is, you cannot replicate this every week over a year. I have put out over 100,000 leaflets and there are some great hit rates but there are some terrible ones too. My record was 23 jobs for 2 hours. Could I get this every 2 hours, no way.
Its like the gambler who only tells you about his wins.
-
If your cheap Bob, put the prices on. If you're not, no prices and sell yourself at the door when they call.
-
Thanks for your input too Davids. I never gamble so its wins all the way. Quick solid growth with very very little drop out rate has meant nothing is a gamble and every day is a good day.
Its not about amounts, its about HOW!
-

That's not what I asked though.

Best of luck to you if you can achieve this. Whatever your 'how' is, can you do it day in day out? If so, you should have 10 franchisees by this time next year. If 40 hours leafleting brings in 280 customers you should be able to do one a month with a few leafletters working part time.

More than enough Lanes!
-
david kent clean can u give us a bit more info how you leaflet a leaflet differently to others im intrigued
-
Davids, you are correct, but as you may well know 'finding' reliable quality franchisees is more difficult than bringing the work in. Had a new one start on the 21st of this month though. Happy days.
-
Search my back posts Richy.

Richy. In short=
Simple easy to read leaflet, your branding on it. Typical Prices on it. Delivered 1 or 2 days (or upto a week) before your cleaning that area. Delivered to the same area on a very regular basis. Delivered before 3.00 pm or on a Sunday.
Hope this helps.
-
More than enough Lanes!
You're very secretive.
No website? But you're looking for franchisers?
Happy to post figures but not ones of any substance.
Not digs. Just facts. Each to their own.
-
Correct on the first account lanes, NO WEBSITE. Second account, not looking at the moment as the new one (started 21st of this month) is settling in and I like to spend time with them.
Prices and amounts. Why share them on a forum? Unless to 'big' your wallet up.
-
Just get ya prices on and don't worry about cheaper guys !!! ;D

Nice leaflet ... like it ! :)
-
them prices for the full wash down seem quite low to me i think you could easily charge a bit more
-

I think its a little bit of a trade off Rich, if you where out seeing it and quoting you could get more, or less if they are small etc.. The beauty about it is no quoting, so when you get a call for the Ultra Clean you know what you're getting, good with the bad.
-
yeah true minus fuel costs etc going to quote i think on them type jobs tho u can land urself some underpriced work, if u got a very large semi would you try and negotiate the price or just go straight in at price stated
-
Just do it unless there was something seriously wrong.
