hi all, need a bigger van and thinking of a used vivaro, do they still get gearbox problems etc, I will most likely be getting a 2008 or 2009 reg
any help gratefully received

'06 onwards the gearbox problems were rectified.

I got a primastar which is basically the same I've had it a few months and its brilliant :)

ive got a lwb vivaro with a brodex system in .

Keep it serviced and cam belt checked and should be ok .
touch wood mines been fine

Had my 07 vivaro LWB for a few weeks - lovely   600 ltr tank plus room for pressure washer or gutter vac and genny.

Thought they had a chain not belt ??

When you say the gearbox issues have been sorted for 06 onwards, would this apply for the primestars and traffics also or just the vivaros?

2006 or 2007 onwards they have chains, before this they had belts
