Title: Choosing the right wand
Post by: Richard Joyce on May 06, 2014, 10:14:59 pm
Could anyone tell me if the Westpak 1.75" bore 4-jet wand would be any good for my storm also could I use it on a prowler, does anyone own this wand what do they think about it.

Many thanks
Richard

I have one find it ok but a bit heavy not sure about using with the prowler as I think the prowler needs a unloader

You need a bypass with the prowler or it will overheat, but I have two four jet westpacs and yes they are very good ! Hydramaster uk to all the parts for them

A bypass wand is ideal for any truckmount. However you can use any wand with a Prowler by simply utilising the machine bypass.

Have you changed the jets, I spoke to mark at clean smart today and he said it would use to much water and it's quite heavy and said just to use a 2 jet wand, so I'm a bit confused what to do, I want something that I can use on the storm and on the prowler when I get one do I really need a four jet, does it clean any better?

Matt's an honest guy.

Having used the two jet wand I can say that the 4 jet is better. It is heavier but does clean better. Its got more airflow than the 2 jet and the jets are angled so that the water dig's into the carpet and are closer to the ground.
