Title: Videos for youtube channel
Post by: JetVac Cleaning on May 02, 2014, 05:51:57 pm
I have been asked to produce some videos by my web designer for youtube to help with my ranking on google. Can anybody give me some advise on the best way to do this? I would like to film in normal time and then speed it up into a couple of minutes of viewing. Do I just use a camcorder with a disc or do I need a go pro or something?

what your talking about is time-lapse, its usually done by taking a number of photos at regular intervals say every 10seconds and putting them into software which plays it back at 20-30frames per second.

I've just bought an ion air pro (similar to the go pro but only £100 for the cheaper one rather than £200) to do the same type of videos with, i've just go to take it out and have a go shooting with it.

You can do time lapse videos with certain good cameras or some phone apps, although you'd have to leave it there for as long as you'd want the video to film for

MS moviemaker has this feature, I think its a free download and is usually installed as standard on most PCs

Don't forget though it is picture only you can't have any sound on the speeded up section
